Employment – Haymarket Affair

Illustrated engraving by Thure de Thulstrop for Harper's Weekly on May 15, 1886.  This engraving was the most widely reproduced image of the Haymarket affair. It inaccurately shows Fielden speaking, the bomb exploding, and the rioting beginning simultaneously.
